Raheem Sterling is to make a big decision in January. Amidst his loan in Arsenal, he will discuss his future.
RAHEEM STERLING MIGHT TAKE A BIG STEP
The Arsenal loanee Sterling has been out of shape and form. He has been unable to be consistent in his plays.
A temporary switch from Chelsea to their rivals, the Gunners has been quite a hectic journey for Sterling.
After such an impressive career, Sterling, with 82 caps in England, has only played 10 games for Mikel Arteta.
So, he only has one goal and only two assists. This has been a poor season for Sterling.
He has been very unfit and inconsistent for the squad.
In both domestic and European campaigns, Arsenal continued without him. So, he is becoming a problem for the squad.
Sterling has been not in good form for Arteta to reconsider him being in the squad. Still, he wants to remain in the Emirates for the time being.
It is still on the air that he will cut short his loan to find more exposure. The upcoming January transfer window is what everyone will keep an eye on.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
As we can see from the current situation, Arsenal will have to make their decision now that Sterling is inconsistent.
But, it is said that Sterling is determined to make the team better for the second half of the season.
Still, Arteta has some positive notes on Sterling for his positive behavior in the dressing room.
The Gunners’ manager said last week he has ‘sympathy’ for Sterling. So, he has been impacted by the Gunner’s injury issues.
It is also claimed that Sterling is desperate to play on the pitch. So, at the end of the season, the loan will be terminated and their rivals Chelsea will get him again.
Until then, it can only be said that his future is still running down between North London. The January transfer is going to be the episode where every transfers will matter.
His contract will be extended till 2027 at the Stamford Bridge. Chelsea fans will be eagerly waiting for their old winger to come back.
AUTHOR’S OPINION
I will likely say that Arteta might be having a bit of relief now that Sterling will leave the club. There will be more vacancy for the perfect winger to sit by and show more.,
However, Sterling still likes his time around in Arsenal. So, he is likely to keep his position and improvise his techniques for the team.
The second half of the season is already interesting. Now that Arsenal al; ready want to relinquish the attacking force, Sterling will also have time to think about his decisions.
So, there are more questions than answers. Will Sterling be able to comeback in Arsenal or will he make a separate plan?
Chelsea might be his turning point but too many players can take away his own playing time. So, Arsenal is his temporary chance to show himself what actually is capable of.
Sterling will decide once this loan period is terminated by the end of this month. The next transfer is going to be his time to pick a path.
Arsenal will have to make sure they have a solid winger now that Bukayo Saka is also injured. It can be quite concerning for them. So, Sterling can perform as a backup for them.
Comment what you think of Raheem Sterling, will he comeback to his normal usual performance?
