Raheem Sterling has taken a big decision about his Arsenal career. The 30 year old joined Gunners on loan from their london rivals Chelsea this summer. So far, he has struggled to make an impact.
Sterling was told by newly joined Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca to find a new club in summer. Maresca made it clear to the winger that he is not in the plans moving forward. The 30 year old then joined Arsenal on the deadline day.
Gunners had not be able to see the best out of Sterling so far. The England international has played only 11 games this season as he is way behind in pecking order. In addition, only 6 of those appearances have came in Premier League.
Sterling has not been able to make an impact on Arsenal side. He has scored just 1 goal and picked 2 assists across all competitions. He is yet to score in Arsenal jersey in Premier League. This has raised question marks upon wheter the club should keep him for the second half of season or not.
Raheem Sterling makes his stance clear about Arsenal loan
The Athletic have reported that Sterling has no intention of leaving Arsenal just yet. The 30 year old is keen to make an impact in the second half of the season.
🚨 Even if there was a clause for Raheem Sterling’s loan to be cut short, the winger has NO intention in terminating his Arsenal contract. ❌📑
The winger is fully focused on making an impact in the latter half of the campaign. ⚡️🔜

Sterling will get more chances to play in the second half of the season. Bukayo Saka has suffered a serious injury. He is set to miss until February which will present other stars with chance to get more game time.
But, Sterling is also injured right now and he is expected to miss until late January. In addition, Gunners are already planning to sign another winger next year. Hence even if Sterling wants to stay at Arsenal, his future will also depend on what the North London club thinks of the situation.
