Arne Slot watches on from the dugout.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is about to name his latest matchday squad.
Some Liverpool players have offered hints about the team Arne Slot may pick to face Leicester City. The Reds will take on the Foxes in their Premier League clash on Boxing Day at Anfield as they look to continue their impressive start to the season - which sees them flying high at the top-flight summit.
Liverpool go into the match on the back of a 6-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and have a four-point lead over second-placed Chelsea with a game in hand. The Reds have amassed 39 points from their first 16 fixtures and will be aiming to secure three more in their quest to beat their rivals to the league title.
It remains to be seen what line-up Slot will select to face Leicester at Anfield in Liverpool's festive fixture. Some members of the squad have provided hints, though, that they may be set to start against the Foxes.

Players often post pre-match graphics on to their social media accounts in the hours leading up to a big match. Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gapo all posted on their Instagram stories graphics previewing Liverpool's clash impending against Leicester.
It has become a common tradition for players to often post a pre-match graphic on their social media profiles if they are set to be part of their starting line-up, if not the matchday squad. As a result, it would be no surprise to see all of Mac Allister, Gravenberch and Gakpo all start against the Foxes.
The trio all started in Liverpool's win over Spurs at the weekend and have all played a key role in the club's success so far this term. In terms of midfield, Slot will also have Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Wataru Endo to choose from, while Gakpo has often alternated with Luis Diaz on the left wing with Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez options there, too.
Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley remain side-lined with injury for the home side. The match will be shown live on Amazon Prime Video as part of their special festive coverage.
