'Bang Average Player' 'All I'm Seeing Is Yaya Sanogo' Arsenal Fans Not Impressed With Potential Saka Replacement

Arsenal “could be offered the chance” to snap up Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani next month, according to reports.

The France international has been frozen out by manager Luis Enrique and The Standard claim the Gunners will be among the teams who will be given an opportunity to sign him.

Muani could be available on loan

It has been reported that the 26-year-old could leave PSG on a temporary basis next month, although it is not known whether the Ligue One champions would demand that an option/obligation to buy is included in any deal.

Considering Muani is not part of Enrique’s plans, having not made the matchday squad for the last three games, there could be a chance of a simple loan until the end of the season. That may only happen at the end of the transfer window next month if no permanent switch can be found for the player and, by that time, Saka could be close to returning to fitness anyway.

Arsenal may consider alternatives

Muani is by no means the only option. Several wide men have been linked with a switch to the Emirates in recent weeks, including West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz and Atheltic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

Those types of players may be difficult to secure next month, though, so younger alternatives like Lyon’s Malick Fofana or Hammarby’s Bazoumana Toure could be looked at instead.
