A pair of Barcelona defenders look set to find themselves without space in Hansi Flick’s squad, in the case of the arrival of Jonathan Tah next summer.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/habra-salidas-tah-ficha-barca-112914363)**, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
The name of stopper Tah, of course, has dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes amid the widespread understanding that Barcelona are on the verge of closing a free agent deal for the Bayer Leverkusen standout.
Whilst such news will no doubt be met with excitement on the part of many a Barca star, however, for two, it looks set to come as a blow.
As per a report from Sport, the plans of Hansi Flick and co. for next season involve depending on four central defensive options: Pau Cubarsí, Iñigo Martínez, Ronald Araújo, and Tah.
This means that both Andreas Christensen and Eric García will be left to find new clubs, or risk spending the campaign watching on from the sidelines.
