Chelsea have dropped points in a second consecutive Premier League game after they were beaten by Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
Cole Palmer gave Enzo Maresca's side a deserved lead in the first half with a composed finish, but an easy header for Fulham substitute Harry Wilson late on levelled the scoreline. Rodrigo Muniz then won it for Fulham in stoppage time, meaning Chelsea now sit four points behind Liverpool in the standings with the Merseyside outfit set to host Leicester City at Anfield later this evening.
The Blues will also be mindful of London rivals Arsenal, who are in action against Ipswich Town on Friday night. The Gunners will leapfrog Chelsea in the table if they're to pick up a win at the Emirates Stadium.
With a busy run of games to come, football.london have taken a look at the upcoming fixtures for the Blues in all competitions.
Chelsea's next five fixtures
December 30 vs Ipswich Town (A) at 7:45pm - Premier League
January 4 vs Crystal Palace (A) at 3pm - Premier League
January 11 vs Morecambe (H) at 3pm - FA Cup
January 14 vs Bournemouth (H) at 7:30pm - Premier League
January 20 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (H) at 8pm - Premier League
Verdict: Fortunately for Chelsea, after five points were dropped over the course of a week, their next run of games is relatively straight forward. Crystal Palace away and Bournemouth are the only standout games in terms of difficulty, but if Maresca's side can regain their formidable form, victories in those fixtures should get them back on track. The FA Cup clash against Morecambe will also provide the manager with an opportunity to rotate his team in the midst of a busy and relentless schedule.
Liverpool's next five fixtures
December 26 vs Leicester City (H) at 8pm - Premier League
December 29 vs West Ham (A) at 5:15pm - Premier League
January 5 vs Manchester United (H) at 4:30pm - Premier League
January 8 vs Tottenham Hotspur (A) at 8pm - Carabao Cup
January 11 vs Accrington Stanley (H) at 12:15pm - FA Cup
Arsenal's next five fixtures
December 27 vs Ipswich Town (H) at 8:15pm - Premier League
January 1 vs Brentford (A) at 5:30pm - Premier League
January 4 vs Brighton (A) at 5:30pm - Premier League
January 7 vs Newcastle United (H) at 8pm - Carabao Cup
January 12 vs Manchester United (H) at 3pm - FA Cup
