Jhon Duran of Aston Villa reacts after receiving a red card
Former Aston Villa midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger believes Jhon Duran needs to learn to control his emotions after he was sent off in Thursday's 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United.
The 21-year-old Colombia international was given his marching orders by referee Anthony Taylor for stamping on Newcastle defender Fabian Schar in the 32nd minute at St James' Park.
Duran had tried to get on the end of a through-ball but Villa's counter-attack was snuffed out by Schar and the forward stamped on the back of the Magpies defender.

And Hitzlsperger, who played for Villa between 2001 and 2005, believes Duran let his emotions get the better of him in the Boxing Day affair.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, Hitzlsperger said: "Well, we talked before the game that he deserves all the praise. He's been excellent, but he's still very young. He has a big temperament and I think, in this case, the temperament worked against him because he didn't keep his cool.
"It wasn't the easiest game for Villa in the first half, I think Newcastle were slightly better, [but] just keep your composure, go in at the first half and have a team talk and then come out in the second half. He just lost it there."
Duran is set to miss Villa's next three matches after the Premier League confirmed his red card was for violent conduct, meaning he will miss Premier League games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City, as well as next month's FA Cup clash against West Ham.
