Dimitar Berbatov surprisingly left out former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo from the top five players that he currently loves to watch in the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who is regarded as one of the best players of all time, has been with Al Nassr since 2023 after his second exit from Manchester United in 2022.
The 40-year-old Portuguese forward has shown little intention to call it time on his remarkable career at club level or on the international stage with Portugal.
Ronaldo has netted 82 times in 90 appearances for Al Nassr and the United legend is widely tipped to play for Portugal at the 2026 World Cup in North America.
The former United superstar’s club future does remain uncertain, with Ronaldo out of contract with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr in the summer.

Berbatov reveals No 5 to No 3 in rankings
Dimitar Berbatov briefly shared the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford towards the tail end of the Al Nassr star’s first spell at Manchester United.
Sir Alex Ferguson brought Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford in 2008 and Ronaldo would leave United in 2009 to complete a blockbuster move to Real Madrid.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Berbatov spent four seasons at United and the 44-year-old former Bulgaria striker lifted two Premier League titles and a League Cup under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The ex-United star scored 56 times in 149 appearances for the Red Devils before he left the Premier League club and signed for Fulham in 2012.
Speaking to Goal, Berbatov was asked to name five players that he enjoys watching right now, with Manchester City star Bernardo Silva being his No 5 pick.
The Red Devils cult hero then went on to name Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski as his fourth and third pick respectively.
“I’ll put Bernardo Silva at number five because he’s good on the ball, he knows how to play,” Berbatov said.
“At four, I’ll go for Harry Kane because he’s scoring still. Good goals.
“At number three, I’ll go for Lewa [Lewandowksi] because he’s still also scoring goals for fun.”

Berbatov’s top two picks for players
Berbatov picked out Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne as his No 2 pick in his top five, with the ex-United striker impressed by how well he reads the match.
The former Tottenham and Fulham player rounded off his top five with Barcelona icon Lionel Messi at the top of the pile, despite him playing at Inter Miami right now.
“At two, I’ll go for Kevin De Bruyne because still, he’s good on the ball, with the eyes reading the game,” Berbatov said.
“And one, even though he’s playing in Miami, I’ll put Messi because I still love watching him, and he’s, you know, just enjoying himself on the ball, no pressure.”
