Manchester United have received a massive boost as one of their key summer targets have revealed they want to join Ruben Amorim’s side.
Whilst The Red Devils are set for another tough transfer window, with finances once more being limited with the lack of sales in January, the club are still trying to remodel their squad.
United’s recruitment team are still shortlisting top targets, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s cost-cutting exercises still going ahead to redirect funds to the first-team squad.
Another 200 jobs are looking at being cut, bringing the total to 450 of the original 1112 staff when Ratcliffe started, being made redundant.
The primary factor is to save money to redirect into the transfer budget for the summer.
Also, United’s wantaway striker Marcus Rashford has a £40 million option to buy built into his loan contract with Aston Villa.
Antony appears to be restarting his career at Real Betis having grabbed his first goal for the club in his second outing, hopefully gaining suitors for a summer move. As such the LaLiga club are already considering making the move permanent at the end of the season.
United will be hoping that more options for sales will also be put on the table in time, as the aim to generate £83 million for top target Geovany Quenda of Sporting Lisbon.

Quenda rose to strength under Amorim as the Portuguese manager led Sporting prior to joining United.
Now, TEAMtalk has reported that Quenda wants to reunite with Amorim at Old Trafford, with his versatility across both wings being admired by his former manager.
As such, talks are already taking place with Quenda’s representatives regarding a summer move, however his £83 million release clause remains the key obstacle to making the move happen.
However, United are confident that with Quenda keen on a move away from Sporting, that a deal can be done for under his release clause value.
It was recently reported that United are lining up a £50 million bid for the winger which has been claimed as maing the move “certain”.
