Manchester United have endured a miserable Premier League campaign.
They currently sit in the bottom half of the table with performances falling well below expectations.
Many players have lost the trust of the fans due to their poor form.
Marcus Rashford was one of the biggest disappointments this season.
The 27-year-old’s struggles led to speculation about his future in January.

Reports linked him with a potential loan move to Barcelona.
However, Barcelona sporting director Deco has now revealed that there was genuine interest in Rashford, but was “not a priority” for the Catalan club.
As relayed by Fabrizio Romano, Deco confirmed the club were aware of Rashford’s situation.
However he insists they were not “desperately looking for a signing.”
🚨🏴 Barça director Deco: “It’s true, we were talking about Marcus Rashford and it was a possible signing… but he couldn’t come”.

Reports from CentreDevils in January claimed that Rashford “dreams” of a move to Barcelona.
To the point where he was even willing to take a pay cut to make it happen.
Despite this, the deal never progressed beyond initial talks.
United instead agreed on a last-minute deal to send Rashford to Aston Villa.
Deco’s comments suggest there was a reason why the move never materialised, with financial factors likely playing a significant role.
Rashford’s wages at Old Trafford, believed to be around £325k, made a deal difficult for Barcelona to pursue.
Aston Villa ultimately agreed to take him on loan, covering 75% of his wages.

Performance-based bonuses potentially increasing this to 90%.
The loan agreement also includes a £40 million buy-option.
A fee that could prove a bargain if Marcus Rashford rediscovers his best form.
Interestingly, it was rumoured Rashford was unwilling to take a wage reduction despite United officials asking him to do so.
This raises questions about how serious his desire for a move to Camp Nou was.
Especially given that he has now joined Villa while maintaining his full salary.
Villa boss Unai Emery played a crucial role in bringing Rashford to Birmingham.
Emery believes he still has the potential to be “one of the best in world football.”
The Spanish coach is convinced he can help the England international regain his form and push Villa towards success this season.
At his unveiling, Rashford added further intrigue to his future by stating, “Obviously it’s only short-term I’m here.”
Which only goes to show he still has aspirations of moving to an elite European club.
Whether Barcelona will consider him a “priority” in the summer remains to be seen.
