While Ruben Amorim’s side have struggled at Old Trafford in recent months, they have picked up more results on the road and Carragher is backing them to get at least a point at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:
“Man United do okay away from home, in sort of big stadium, but Tottenham beat them a few weeks ago. I think this will be 1-1, because I think Man United will go there, but they’re back five, sit there, try and make it awkward, try and nix up them.
“And I’m not sure Tottenham have got enough to score a few goals, even the energy and I don’t think Man United have got the quality. I’m gonna go 1-1.”

Due to the two teams being in such poor form, the bookies are finding it hard to separate them. Spurs are slight favourites (7/5) but United are also priced relatively short (8/5).
Despite Carragher’s prediction, a draw is the least likely outcome based on the odds (13/5). It is a game that is a pretty difficult one to call.
Manchester United team news ahead of Sunday’s fixture

The Red Devils could have five players absent for the trip to London. Altay Bayindir was not available for the FA Cup tie against Leicester City, having picked up a knock in the build-up. There is no indication as to when the Turkish international will be back in contention.
Luke Shaw has had yet another setback as he continues to struggle with a leg injury. Jonny Evans (back) and Mason Mount (hamstring) remain on the treatment table, while Lisandro Martinez (ACL) is out for the rest of the season.
