Ange Postecoglou will have some big decisions to make when Tottenham take on Manchester United on Sunday.

Spurs will host the Red Devils at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 16 February, with Ruben Amorim expected to make two changes for the Premier League clash.

Tottenham suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday (9 February) which saw the North London side eliminated from the FA Cup as pressure increases on Postecoglou, with Mauricio Pochettino emerging as the favourite to replace the Australian.

However, with the likes of Destiny Udogie expected to return on Sunday, and Spurs having already beaten United twice this season, Postecoglou should be confident heading into the clash.

In the heart of defence, Kevin Danso and Archie Gray are likely to keep their places, with Micky van de Ven not expected to return in time. Danso struggled against Villa, winning just two of his five ground duels, while Gray made one error which led to a shot. However, it seems as though Postecoglou has no choice but to start the duo.

Meanwhile, Djed Spence is likely to keep his place, while the returning Udogie replaces Pedro Porro. The Spaniard is in desperate need of a rest, which was evident at Villa Park as he was dribbled past three times while providing just one accurate cross from six attempts.

In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur will expect to keep his place, while Pape Matar Sarr could replace Lucas Bergvall. Further forward, Dejan Kulusevski could be another player who benefits from a rest, despite an impressive performance against Unai Emery’s side which saw him provide an assist and succeed with 100 per cent of his attempted dribbles.

Mikey Moore to start for Tottenham v Manchester United

Should Kulusevski drop to the bench, that would leave Postecoglou with little choice but to stick by Mikey Moore despite the 17-year-old’s disappointing performance which saw him complete just 64 per cent of his passes before being hooked at halftime in the FA Cup.

Mathys Tel will be looking to build on his first Tottenham goal, as he keeps his place alongside Son Heung-min, who will need to put in a much more convincing display after missing one big chance and failing to provide an accurate cross from two attempts last time out.
