Ruben Amorim has been with Manchester United now for three months and the club are still yet to ee dramatic improvements on the pitch.
The club have the opportunity to rise from 13th in the league to 11th with a win over Tottenham this weekend, depending on other results.
However, one big change has now been noticed since Erik ten Hag’s reign.
Whilst the Dutchman was in charge, despite his public fallout with players like Jadon Sancho and his blunt nature, he was extremely loyal to several players he had previous experience with at Ajax.
Also, academy graduates Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo also had his allegiance, with the pair winning the FA Cup for him as the sole United goal scorers in a 2-1 win over Manchester City.
When Ruud van Nistelrooy took over on an interim basis, it was noted that his man-management style was much appreciated by the player despite his short stint in the role.
However, Ruben Amorim has been reported by Manchester Evening News as having a much more professional approach in the dressing room.
With the exception of fellow countrymen Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes, Amorim hasn’t allowed himself to become as close with the team in general.
This could well be as the club are planning a major squad overhaul in the summer, with a more professional and detached approach allowing for him to be more ruthless with culling player in the transfer window.
