Tottenham injury update vs Manchester United

Tottenham’s injury problems have been well documented this season with key players having missed large chunks of the campaign to date.

At the start of the season, it would have been unthinkable to consider Sunday’s match would be a case of thirteenth against fourteenth in the Premier League table when both sides meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.

Yesterday it was reported that Micky van de Ven was set to miss the match against United with the defender having not featured since returning for the first half of the 3-0 win against Elfsborg in the Europa League last month.

Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke and Richarlison all remain sidelined for the visit of United.

Positive news on the injury front for Tottenham

There was some positive news however, with the official site confirming Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison and Destiny Udogie have all returned to full training and are expected to be back and available for selection this weekend.

Tottenham vs Manchester United takes place on Sunday in North London, with kick-off at 4:30pm BST and live television coverage on Sky Sports.
