Agonizing defeat in the cup came for Leicester City last time out as a late Harry Maguire header sent Ruben Amorim’s side through to the next round. This Saturday, February 15, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side play host to an injury struck Arsenal. Here is the Leicester predicted lineup to take on Mikel Arteta’s Gunners.
Leicester Predicted Lineup Vs Arsenal for Premier League Clash
How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently
Last time out, the Foxes continued to set up in their 4-2-3-1 system, which saw relative success across the pitch. Mads Hermansen made it back-to-back starts at Old Trafford after returning from injury. Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli made up a centre-back partnership, with the latter putting in a much-improved performance.

Luke Thomas returned into the fold for the clash in Manchester, whilst James Justin started from the right but later switched to the left as Woyo Coulibaly came off the bench. Meanwhile, the double pivot of Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumaré was back after the Nigerian’s recent injury.

Jordan Ayew continued his run of starts off the left this time, with Bobby Decordova Reid on the opposite flank. In the centre, Bilal El Khannouss was the creative spark for his side as he created the opener. Rounding off the eleven was Patson Daka, who was the only striker in the squad.
Leicester City’s Recent Form and Tactics
It was yet another loss for the Dutchman’s side but they looked much improved in their cup exit last time out. A game of two halves saw both teams struggle at parts and never really take control, but it was the home team that found the quality late on.

The first 45 minutes saw a real lack of quality, but it was the Foxes, who were ahead. Bobby Decordova Reid’s header marked a good half for the visitors, especially as they managed four shorts to Manchester United’s two. However, this soon changed in the second half. Argentine international Alejandro Garnacho changed the game when he came on for the second half.
The winger was a constant threat with his direct running against James Justin. Amorim’s side eventually found their reward as Joshua Zirkzee and Harry Maguire found the net to send their side through to the next round.

Overall, Leicester looked better, but it wasn’t enough. The performance after the hour mark left them vulnerable and it felt like more of the same as the wingers enjoyed so much space against the full-backs. However, it was quite an unlucky ending given the controversial late winner and therefore, this game could be looked at as a positive heading into the Arsenal clash.
Leicester City Injuries to Consider
As revealed by Van Nistelrooy, no new injuries have came up since last week. Vardy, Kristiansen and Vestergaard all return after ‘light injuries’ that left them sidelined at Old Trafford.
