Alejandro Garnacho was our Man of the Match against Leicester, after coming off the bench to good effect, and the boss feels the Argentina international is taking his instructions on board and providing a real threat going forward.
"Yes, he is enjoying the way we play," Amorim said. "He is confident and he is good in the moments one v one. These kind of details, in a player like him, is important."
Members of the current Under-18s side will look to emulate Garnacho's achievement of winning the FA Youth Cup and then graduating into the senior team, and the 5-1 victory over Chelsea in the competition this week has not gone unnoticed by Ruben and everybody at Carrington.
"Of course, they have [done well] and we need them a lot for the future of this club and I am really happy for them," he explained. "But they need to keep working because the Premier League is a different world, and they have to improve every day. So I am really happy and they need to continue."
