Leeds United have already started to plan for life in the Premier League with new transfers being lined up.

While they have done well with their recruitment despite losing some big names in the summer, there is going to be a lot of improvement that needs to be made if they are to survive relegation next season should they return to the top flight.

A new striker is likely to be atop Daniel Farke’s priority as none of the number nines this season have achieved any consistency.

The Whites’ quest for a new striker has led them to rivals to Manchester United’s under-performing forward Rasmus Hojlund.

On The Minute reported on 15 February that Leeds are keeping tabs on the Denmark international who moved to Old Trafford last summer for £72million.

Farke is understood to be keen on the 22-year-old as he believes he’s got the potential to make it big.

Manchester United are expected to be open to letting him leave for a £40million fee in the summer as they will cut their losses with him.

The Old Trafford outfit are open to offers so an exit is most certainly on the cards in the transfer window.

Daniel Farke can get the best out of Rasmus Hojlund at Elland Road

If they manage to pull it off, Hojlund would be an excellent signing for the Whites upon promotion due to his proven goal-scoring ability, physicality and potential for growth.

His pace, 6’4″ frame, and clinical finishing align perfectly with Farke’s positional, possession-based style, which thrives on dominant forwards.

To maximise Hojlund’s impact, Farke will deploy him as the focal point in his 4-2-3-1, encouraging wingers like Wilfried Gnonto and Largie Ramazani to feed him in central channels.

The German’s emphasis on central overloads would allow the Red Devils forward to exploit spaces, while his experience promoting Norwich twice suggests he can refine the number nine’s raw talent, ensuring his side’s attack remains potent in the Premier League.
