Arsenal and Manchester United are closely monitoring Rodrigo Mora, the FC Porto attacking midfielder, as both Premier League clubs track the development of one of Portugal’s most promising young talents.
According to “CaughtOffside,” scouts from both clubs have been regularly watching the 17-year-old, who has impressed since breaking into Porto’s first team.
Mora, a Portuguese Under-21 international, is contracted to Porto until June 30, 2027, with a release clause of €45 million. The figure is considered high but not prohibitive for top European clubs, and there is growing expectation that Porto will move to adjust his contract once he turns 18 on May 5 this year.

The player’s performances have made him a focal point of Porto’s long-term plans, but interest from England has intensified. Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, have placed an emphasis on recruiting young talent, while Manchester United continue to look for emerging players who fit their rebuilding project under Ruben Amorim.
Mora is known for his technical ability and vision in attacking midfield. He has already made two appearances for Portugal’s Under-21 side, and his market value was last updated at €10 million in December.
Porto is expected to resist approaches for the player, but the ongoing interest from Arsenal and Manchester United suggests he could be the subject of bids in the near future.
