Marcus Rashford celebrates following Aston Villa's equaliser

Marcus Rashford's celebration during Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town speaks volumes after sealing a move away from Manchester United last month.

Rashford played a key role in Villa's equaliser against relegation-threatened Ipswich. The 27-year-old struck the crossbar from a free-kick positioned around 25-yards out, just to the left-hand side of the box, with the rebound converted by Ollie Watkins.

As the ball went across the line, Rashford could be seen flinging his arms up in celebration. However, just as the other Villa players were a bit more animated, the Man United-loanee regained his composure before joining his teammates.

It was clear to see the euphoria of being involved in the goal got to Rashford. But then shortly after, he went back to getting his head down and working for his teammates.

The last time the forward had a goal-involvement was on December 1st when he scored a brace against Everton for Man United. His initial excitement for assisting Watkins looked like a load off his shoulders.

His quick change to a more dulled-down expression looked to show that he still isn't necessarily completely 'happy' and wants to get involved in more.

When Rashford was first announced as an Aston Villa player, he said on an Instagram post that he "just want's to play football." In his opening two games for the Midlands clubs, he has played each match, and though his involvement in the goal won't go down as a direct assist, he did play his part.

The 27-year-olds next opportunity to impress will come in Villa's mid-week fixture against Man United rivals Liverpool. Although now departed from Old Trafford, Reds supporters will be hoping he can play his part in getting one over United's rivals, raising his stock ahead of a potential summer departure.
