Kobbie Mainoo poses in a bucket hat
Manchester United fans have fumed at the club for posting Kobbie Mainoo in a bucket hat amid their injury crisis
Manchester United fans have raged at the club after Kobbie Mainoo was posted in a photoshoot promoting bucket hats - despite being injured ahead of their trip to Tottenham this weekend.
Mainoo is part of a mounting injury crisis at Old Trafford this week to hand Ruben Amorim a huge dilemma ahead of their clash against Ange Postecoglou's men on Sunday.
The England youngster is set for a couple of weeks on the sideline, according to reports while Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are also said to be ruled out of the clash.
In addition, star winger Amad Diallo could reportedly be out for the season after sustaining an ankle injury - after Lisandro Martinez's campaign was already declared over.

As United face a huge task to climb the table with their depleted squad, fans were left fuming at the club's social media channel for uploading a photo of Mainoo in a shoot showing him wearing bucket hats and promoting them for sale on their website.
One supporter replied: "WHY WOULD YOU POST THIS," as another said: "I really hope this was a scheduled tweet." A third added: "Read the room omg."
"Amad, Kobbie and Ugarte all injured this week, but it's all ok we can buy a Man Utd Bucket hat. This club," read a tweet from another disgruntled supporter.
Amad Diallo
Amad Diallo is among five United players who could be unavailable against Spurs on Sunday
Another fan said: "News: Amad may miss the rest of the season while fighting a relegation battle. Manchester United: Oh look, we have a bucket hat. Buy it for $50. Read the room! Or maybe the fan base should have started doing that."
The absences mean United may have to field Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in midfield against Tottenham. In addition to Diallo, Mainoo, Ugarte and Collyer, the team are also missing Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans and back-up keeper Altay Bayindir.
Speaking about the sudden influx of injuries this week, Amorim said: "It was a good week until two days ago. We had some problems also. We don't have players back.
"Maybe we have one or two issues, we are waiting. We have one player also who is sick so we will see who is fit. But it was good to work with team, to feel the players and try and improve performances."
