Tottenham star vows 'better times are coming' as Spurs seek vital Man Utd win

KEVIN DANSO has issued a stirring message to his Tottenham comrades, declaring that his own journey is testament to the fact that hard times are only temporary. The Austrian defender, who joined Spurs in a last-minute January deal from Lens, believes he brings a history of resilience to the team.

After a move to Roma fell through last August due to concerns raised in his medical, Danso reflected: "Every experience that I’ve gone through in my life has helped me to get where I am today."

He added optimistically, "I hope they will help the club now as well."

Despite acknowledging the recent poor form and his own adjustment period, he assured, "But I think in a maximum of one or two more games, I'll be fully up to speed."

Danso sees great potential in the squad, stating, "I can see the potential of the team, even though the results haven’t really shown that."

He noted the team's spirit, saying, "We’ve got a lot of players missing but the character is there, the willingness is there and we can only be positive moving forward."

With the return of James Maddison, Destiny Udogie, and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario for today's clash with Manchester United, and Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner back in training, Spurs' ranks are strengthening. Although Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are still out, Danso feels that a win against United could signify a turning point for Ange Postecoglou's side.

Former Southampton loanee Danso shared his optimism despite current challenges, saying: "With the situation we’re in now, I know it’s just a momentary thing and that better times are still to come."

He also expressed hope for the upcoming game: "I hope with the game today it really turns in our favour and obviously I want to play my own role in that. It feels amazing to be here."
