Chelsea supporters were full of praise for Tosin Adarabioyo after they spotted what he did in the European clash with Djurgarden.
The Blues are halfway to the Conference League final after taking control of their semi-final tie against Djurgarden, winning the first leg 4-1 away from home on Thursday night. Nicolas Jackson (two), Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke all scored as the Blues attack dominated.
Enzo Maresca’s side put in a strong display in Sweden to give them a healthy aggregate lead to take back to Stamford Bridge next Thursday.
Swedish media praised Filip Jorgensen because the Chelsea goalkeeper made a few decent saves. But overall, a 4-1 result was probably fair on the balance of play.

Chelsea fans loved how Tosin Adarabioyo defended Moises Caicedo
In the closing stages of Chelsea’s win over Djurgarden, Blues midfielder Moises Caicedo received a needless heavy challenge in the centre of the park.
As a result, Chelsea centre-half Tosin Adarabioyo sprinted forward from defence to confront the Djurgarden players. Even though he picked up a booking for his reaction, he’s certainly won the hearts of the fanbase for showing leadership and protecting his teammate.
One fan wrote: “Tosin has been immense. Best on the ball performance I have seen from a Chelsea centre-back this season. And I love how he just defended Caicedo.”
“Tosin know how important Caicedo is. I don’t blame him for his reaction. We can’t have Caicedo injured by this club,” another posted.

One supporter claimed: “Tosin thank you for fighting for Caicedo. We can’t afford to lose Caicedo.”
“Tosin crashing out cause someone hurt Caicedo,” another said.
Finally, one fan commented: “Uncle Tosin stood up up for Caicede. Things you love to see.”
Reports this week explained that Tosin Adarabioyo has a massive influence at Chelsea behind the scenes in the dressing room, which is why they’ve got no plans to sell him.
The 27-year-old centre-back is one of the more experienced heads in the Blues squad, so he’s naturally grown into a senior figure during his debut season at the club.

Tosin Adarabioyo is a quality ball-playing defender
In Chelsea’s latest Conference League victory, Tosin yet again proved what a smart addition he’s been on a free transfer.
The Englishman shows leadership and authority whenever he’s on the football pitch. On top of that, he’s a superb passer of the football, so he suits Maresca’s style brilliantly.
