Manchester United have been urged to sign Cole Palmer, Ademola Lookman and Viktor Gyokeres this summer. The Red Devils are set for a busy transfer window as they look to overhaul Ruben Amorim's squad.
Amorim is desperate for reinforcements after a disastrous season, with United now 14th in the Premier League table. While the Europa League is providing some comfort, the embarrassment on domestic soil is set to prompt a major recruitment drive.
There are a number of areas in Amorim's squad that need improvement. Attack appears to be the main point of weakness though, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failing to prove they are top-level forwards.
Hojlund has registered just 14 Premier League goals since arriving at Old Trafford in a £72million deal from Atalanta in the summer of 2023. Zirkzee scored just seven times in all competitions following his move from Bologna ahead of the current campaign.
That poor return has convinced superstar fan Usain Bolt that United need recruits up-front. The nine-time Olympic gold medallist has picked out Palmer, Lookman and Gyokeres as prime targets.

Bolt told B/R Football : "The left winger from Atalanta. He's called Lookman, I've watched him throughout. He's pretty good. And I think Cole Palmer. He's really showed his class. And the striker is, is Viktor from Sporting. Those are the three signing I would definitely get for this summer."
Palmer enjoyed a breakthrough season in his debut year at Stamford Bridge, scoring 27 goals and registering 15 assists in all competitions. This campaign has been more difficult for the England international though.
He has hit the back of the net only 14 times in all competitions and is currently on an 18-game drought, dating back to January. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca last week claimed that Palmer's struggles are a mental issue.

"For sure it's a mental thing, it's not tactical or technical," Maresca said. "Cole is still the player who scored 14 goals in 20 games. The style is the same, the manager is the same, the club is the same.
"Nothing has changed around Cole. It's just mentally in this moment. You can see he's a little bit worried because he wants to help the team. You can see he's struggling a bit on that. But he showed how happy he was after Fulham.
"It's just a matter (of whether) we can win games. For sure he's going to score goals. If you go back game by game, he had at least every game one or two chances, so it's not about how the team is playing."
Palmer will be hoping to break his drought on Sunday afternoon when Chelsea host champions Liverpool. It would be extremely difficult for United to buy Palmer, with the Englishman contracted to Chelsea until 2033.
