Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to leave Arsenal this summer amid growing interest from Borussia Dortmund, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of**Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast**, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed Zinchenko is likely to “move on” from the club at the end of the season, with Dortmund among the sides monitoring his situation.
The Ukraine international has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates after losing his left-back spot to 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly. The arrival of Riccardo Calafiori last summer has only added to the competition for places, leaving Zinchenko open to a new challenge.
Borussia Dortmund had explored a deal for Zinchenko during the January window but were unable to get a move over the line. However, the German side remain keen and are expected to reignite their interest once the window reopens.
With Arsenal planning to refresh their squad and bring in further signings, it is understood Zinchenko has now been made available for transfer, and a permanent departure looks increasingly likely.

Due to injuries within the squad and Mikel Merino being pushed further forward as an emergency srtiker, Zinchenko has also featured in midfield more frequently in recent weeks.
He has made 20 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring once and providing one assist, but has played just 713 minutes in total and made only four Premier League starts.
Lewis-Skelly’s impressive performances has further limited Zinchenko’s chances of reclaiming a regular spot in the starting XI, and a move to Borussia Dortmund could offer the fresh start he’s looking for.

Football Insider revealed that Kieran Tierney has already agreed a move back to Celtic in a return to his boyhood club.
Meanwhile, loan duo Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares are also set to leave permanently, with neither player in Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.
Tavares has impressed during his loan spell at Lazio and is now expected to remain in Italy, while Sevilla have opened talks over a permanent deal for Lokonga, as Arsenal aim to clear space and prepare for what is set to be a busy transfer window.
