Arsenal blew a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at home to Bournemouth and put their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season in jeopardy.
Mikel Arteta's side have struggled in the Premier League since February, all but handing the title to rivals Liverpool with poor results against the likes of West Ham, Manchester United, Everton, Brentford and Crystal Palace. Their hopes of winning any silverware this season now rely on overturning a 1-0 deficit in their Champions League semi-final second leg away against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners are still second in the table following a disastrous 2-1 defeat to eighth-placed Bournemouth. But fans are now starting to fear they may not even compete in Europe's top competition next term, with Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa all capable of catching Arsenal.
One fan said: "Newcastle and Liverpool up next and we might miss out on champions league football altogether. embarrassing! Arteta talks a good game but delivers boring stat based football and now its costing us big time. Imagine Spurs qualify for the CL and we don't. Arteta out!"
Another fan said: "Arteta is a clown I’m not interested what he has to stay if we don’t win on Wednesday it could get painful."

A third Arsenal fan said: "Manager out of his depth, team not performing, below par performance from team AGAIN, Arteta to be sacked."
And a fourth commented: "Essentially all Arteta has done today is knacker our team out ahead of our biggest hame in decades and drag us right into a top 5 race in the league where we’re now at serious risk of not even having UCL next season. If we go out next week then this manager can leave."
Manchester City are three points behind Arsenal in third, having played the same number of games, 35. But Newcastle, Chelsea and Forest - on 62, 60 and 60 points respectively - all have a game in hand on the Gunners. Villa in seventh meanwhile are also on 60 points after 35 games.

Arsenal still require four points to guarantee a top five finish. Arteta's side must next face the daunting task of travelling away to champions Liverpool, where they are expected to give Arne Slot's Reds a guard of honour to mark their title triumph.
The North London outfit then host top five rivals Newcastle at home, in another challenging fixture. They end the season with a game at the Emirates against relegated Southampton.
Declan Rice opened the scoring with 34 minutes on the clock when he latched onto a clever pass from Martin Odegaard. The home side looked in firm control, but the Cherries secured their first ever Premier League double over Arsenal - having beat them 2-0 in October - thanks to second half goals from Dean Huijsen and Evanilson.
First defender Huijsen headed in following a long throw-in, before Evanilson netted after a corner. Arsenal are known for their prowess when it comes to converting from set pieces, but defending them has been their Achilles' heel this season.
