Liverpool return to Premier League action with a trip to the capital to take on Chelsea. The Blues will welcome the newly-crowned champions after Arne Slot’s side clinched the title with a commanding 5-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield last weekend.
Chelsea meanwhile, still have a lot to play for as they continue their quest to qualify for the Champions League. Despite winning their last three games in all competitions, Enzo Maresca's team are yet to beat Liverpool in any competition since March 2021.
During that time, the Reds have won five of their last ten meetings in the last four years. Speaking ahead of the clash, Slot said: "Chelsea plays the same style as they did at Anfield, always bring a defender into midfield, and they did this against us.

"No surprise, we saw them playing, we knew they did it but we didn’t defend it well enough and they were outstanding.
"I do feel it was one of their best games of the season but they have so many good players in their squad, that is the biggest thing you have to fight against."
