A video of the Chelsea dressing room celebrating the 3-1 win over Liverpool has gone viral on social media. Cole Palmer fired the Blues to victory at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, securing three crucial points in the race for UEFA Champions League qualification.
Enzo Fernandez broke the deadlock inside the opening couple of minutes to give Chelsea the lead at the break. An own goal from Jarell Quansah doubled the west Londoners' advantage shortly before the hour mark.
Virgil van Dijk pulled one back for Liverpool, but Palmer later put the third and final nail in the coffin. In the dying embers of stoppage time, the 22-year-old midfielder beat Alisson Becker from 12 yards.
Unsurprisingly, the Chelsea squad were delighted with the victory against the newly-crowned Premier League champions. Trevoh Chalobah uploaded a video of the dressing room celebrations to his Snapchat story.
Fernandez appeared to be leading the festivities before Noni Madueke took centre stage and performed a dance. In light of the match, the moment has gone viral on social media, with one particular post eclipsing a million views and nearly 8,000 likes on X.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Enzo Maresca was just as pleased with the result. The Chelsea manager said: "We go game-by-game for sure. Today, the performance has been a good performance, especially for the effort of the players.
"I think we have for sure some moments, a little bit been up and down for part of the season, but overall I am happy in the way the players are trying to do their job."
Maresca added: "My feeling is that it is already a long time from when you work with the players every day, I have the feeling that they are all on the same page and in the same direction with the way we want to play but also in terms of creating the right culture that I think is so important."
On Palmer being back on the scoresheet, Maresca said: "Probably from the outside, but we saw Cole day-by-day on the training ground and he is exactly the same way, scoring goals and happy. Enjoying the session.
"For sure, when he is not scoring goals, he is not happy, and the reason why is because he probably wants to help the team and the club to reach something important."
And on Romeo Lavia, who was given a standing ovation by the home faithful, Maresca said: "You can see that we are a better team with Romeo. Unfortunately, he has been injured for most of the season.
"Probably in this moment he has been the difference between us and many clubs because we had many important players for us that have been injured. Romeo is one of them. Wes Fofana is another one.
"We had Nico [Jackson] for two months [out]. Romeo showed again today how important he is for the team and how good he is."
