Lewandowski passed fit for Barca’s UCL tie with Inter

Barcelona have passed Robert Lewandowski fit for Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter at San Siro.

The Poland international has been out for the last few weeks with a hamstring problem but has returned to training and is in the travelling squad.

The news is a boost for Hansi Flick and his side as they go in search of the victory needed to progress to a final against PSG or Arsenal.

Barcelona and Inter drew 3-3 in the first leg at Montjuic, meaning Flick’s side must win in Italy if they are to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

Lewandowski isn’t expected to start the game in Milan, with Ferran Torres set to get the nod, but could be a useful option off the bench if a goal is needed.

The veteran has scored 11 goals in just 12 Champions League appearances for Barcelona so far this season.
