Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen has been linked with a move to Liverpool
Liverpool target Dean Huijsen is expected to decide his 'next club' this month, it has been claimed. The Reds are interested in a summer move for the 20-year-old centre-back, who has impressed in the Premier League since his move to Bournemouth last summer.
Huijsen joined the Cherries for £13million from Juventus and has been one of the outstanding defenders in the top flight this season. The Spain international produced another excellent performance against Arsenal on Saturday, scoring and winning the Player of the Match award during his side's 2-1 win.
That has increased speculation regarding his future, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea among those chasing a potential move. According to Fabrizio Romano, the trio are 'pushing' and 'presenting projects' to Huijsen, who would prefer a 'quick transfer' and not a drawn out summer 'saga'.

It's added that Huijsen is anticipated to select his next club come the end of the month. The former Roma man has a £50m release clause in his Bournemouth contract, which is not due to expire until 2030.
Although Huijsen has been tipped for a big-money summer move, he played down talk that he could be set to leave Bournemouth following their win at Arsenal on the weekend.
"I think I'm pretty relaxed. I'm just a chill guy, just as my celebration is," Huijsen told Sky Sports when asked about the incessant transfer rumours. I don't really think about it too much. I just go to training every morning.
"We have a great group, great staff, great everything at the club and I just enjoy my football, enjoy myself. At the moment, I'm just having fun playing football and, yeah, it's going well so I'm really happy."
Jamie Redknapp heaped praise on Huijsen's performance against Arsenal and says he has the "ingredients" to become a complete modern-day central defender.
"He is so cool, so composed, so chill, as he said," the former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder said. "He just makes the game look so easy and so effortless. For a 20-year-old to be playing at this level and doing what he is, that's why he's coveted by pretty much everyone in Europe.
"If you're creating a footballer, the modern-day centre-back, you've got a bit of the influence from the Netherlands, the influence from Spain, where they come out with the ball and all the great defenders they've had.
"And then you've got that Italian mark on it as well so the journey, the mixture that he's got, is pretty perfect and now he's found himself in the Premier League.
"The elements are good, everything is right for him. You have to get all the right ingredients to be a top player. He's a complete player, this young man."
