Paris Saint-Germain might be looking for a center-back this summer, with Milan Skriniar likely set to leave permanently and Marquinhos, now in his 30s, getting older.
Last year, the club added some youth with Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho, so this focus on younger players could continue into the summer. While the transfer window is still a couple of months away, rumors are already starting to surface.
In March, journalistSacha Tavolieri reported that the Ligue 1 side will try again this summer to secure Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi to bolster their backline. Now, with the summer window on the horizon, that information has again resurfaced.
Could PSG revisit the Ilya Zabarnyi transfer file?

Sky Sport Switzerland reports that PSGare considering a summer move for Zabarnyi or ClubBrugge’s Joel Ordoñez. Nonetheless,to secure the Ukraine internationalthere’s a major hurdle intheParisians’ path.
The key question for PSG will be whether they decide to offload Matvey Safonov this summer, which is a possibility, especially if Gianluigi Donnarumma becomes the undisputed No. 1 after potentially extending his contract.
PSG couldeither sell or loanout Safonov, and that may be enough to persuade Illya Zabarnyi to leave Bournemouth for the French capital. However, the Parisians will face competition.
A report fromCaughtOffside last November stated that although Zabarnyi recently signed a contract with Bournemouth through 2029, the club would be willing to listen to offersaround £50 million.
The report also mentioned that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurare set to battle for Zabarnyi’s signature.
