Manchester United are prepared to allow Garnacho to depart from the club this summer, but only if it is for a fee of no less than £65m. The 19-year-old is not flourishing under new head coach Ruben Amorim. That has been frustrating for everybody concerned and has sparked interest from the top clubs in Europe.
Chelsea missed out on him in January. They are in on him again, as are Napoli. Man Utd have some clear-outs to do in June, with more than a few players available. Marcus Rashford, Antony are two names that will surely have surfaced.

Alejandro was one of the club’s most valuable assets before this campaign. But, given his less recent performances, it could tipped the club to part with him. The idea is to use his funds to bolster up their side for next season.

The Blues’ interest in the Argentine emerges at a time when he is beginning to show flashes of his best. He scored a goal and assisted one in Manchester United’s 4-3 defeat against Brentford. That reminded the potential suitors of his finishing ability.
But with Utd being at 15th in the PL and only three games left, change is needed for sure. Amorim’s side will be desperate to end the season with a bang by lifting the Europa League trophy and have taken a massive step towards that. They already have one foot in the Europa League final by beating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the first-leg of the semi-final.
They are also expecting a potential arrival of Wolves forward Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million. So, Garnacho’s minutes could be further limited next season. The Utd youngster is reportedly open to a fresh start.
Whether the Blues are ready to meet Utd’s valuation remains to be seen. But, the door is certainly open for a big summer switch.
