Everton are going to be backed in the summer transfer window by their new owners.
That will be music to the ears of all the fans on Merseyside and David Moyes who is now just a few games away from the summer break.
After such a bright start under the 62-year-old manager, Everton’s issues are starting to rear their ugly head again.
The result of the weekend against Ipswich Town will have been seriously disappointing as that should be a team the Toffees are beating on home soil.
James Tarkowski is expecting an exciting summer transfer window from the new owners in what is their first real opportunity to change the squad.
Although additions across the pitch are going to be needed, Everton certainly will require plenty of attacking quality to be added.

Everton eyeing former Arsenal forward Nicolas Pepe
Moyes has wanted a new forward from the minute he was appointed back in January.
Injuries and a real lack of consistency has plagued this Everton side this season and that has to change over the summer.

According to FootMercato, Everton are one of the sides showing an interest in the former Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.

Alongside the Toffees, Premier League rivals Wolves are also looking to potentially make a move for the Villarreal attacker.
The 29-year-old is also receiving interest from Saudi Arabia.
It is believed the Friedkins want to make a statement signing for Everton, which has seen the likes of Richarlison linked to the club.
Pepe may not be that man, but he would provide the club with Premier League experience as they look to find an upgrade on the right wing.
Nicolas Pepe was once a £72m Arsenal signing
The Gunners broke the bank to sign Pepe for £72m back in 2019, but his time in the Premier League did not exactly live up to that price tag.
Everton are looking to sign new forwards this summer having failed to see much of an impact from the likes of Jack Harrison.
Despite this, it is believed Everton would like to keep Harrison permanently this summer.
Everton need some improved quality from that right wing and the jury will remain out if they were to land Pepe – who started off as a goalkeeper.
Pepe’s Premier League career Total
Appearances 80
Minutes 4308
Goals 16
Assists 9
Perhaps another opportunity could benefit the Ivorian, but he would certainly not be returning for a fee in the region of the £72m he joined Arsenal for.
