AC Milan’s Rafael Leao has been linked with a move to Chelsea over the past few weeks.
The Portuguese has had a season full of ups and downs but despite that, he has scored eight times while grabbing a total of ten assists in the Serie A.
There has been some uncertainty about his future at the San Siro and Chelsea are increasingly becoming a candidate to land him.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported that Milan are currently not focused on a new deal for Leao because his current deal runs out in the summer of 2028. There are no ‘cracks’ in the relationship but there is some disappointment at Milan about the season that the forward has had.
In the meantime, Chelsea have already held informal talks with the 25-year-old’s entourage and Al Nassr have also done the same.
It remains to be seen if either of the two clubs make a formal approach but it is clear that the Blues are a keen admirer of the Portugal international, who has a release clause of €175m in his current deal at the Rossoneri.
