Arsenal eye move for Serie A sensation

Arsenal will hope to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Ousmane Dembele’s goal earned the French champions a slender victory at The Emirates last week, and Mikel Arteta’s side will therefore have to produce an impressive turnaround in Paris if they are to reach the final.

Last time out the Gunners were beaten 2-1 by Bournemouth in the Premier League, despite taking an early lead courtesy of Declan Rice.

Arteta will be desperate to see his side improve when they visit the French capital, in order to keep alive their chances of avoiding another season without silverware.

Off the pitch, it appears that Arsenal have their sights set on a Serie A star as they look to bolster Arteta’s squad.

As reported by Fichajes via GiveMeSport, the Gunners are keeping tabs on Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, 20.

Yildiz has impressed for Juventus this season

The Turkish winger joined Juventus’ youth system in 2022 and has since broken into the first team in Turin.

He has played 46 times for the Italian side across all competitions so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.

It is claimed that Arteta is keen to add a forward to his squad that can both dribble and score goals, and Yildiz is viewed as a prime candidate to meet that criteria.

The Old Lady are reluctant to lose the Turkey international, however it is suggested that the club could be willing to allow him to leave for a fee in the region of £77 million.

Yildiz is currently contracted to Juventus until the end of the 2028/29 season, but the report claims that the winger is increasingly attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League.
