See how it all unfolds on the Liveblog.

The Nerazzurri had been leading 2-0 on the night, 5-3 on aggregate, only to fall behind at the 88th minute to an Eric Garcia volley, Dani Olmo diving header and Raphinha angled drive.

Just as Barcelona were ready to celebrate their qualification for the Final, Denzel Dumfries shrugged off Gerard Martin and rolled across for Acerbi to fire first-time into the roof of the net with his right foot.

Understandably, the centre-back went wild with his celebrations and did not care about the yellow card for whipping his jersey off, as he allowed Inter to stay alive in this Champions League semi-final and go into extra time at San Siro.

It was a career high for Acerbi, who has been through some rough times, most notably when he was twice diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2013.
