Fourteen players guaranteed to be in Arsenal squad vs PSG as footage emerges

Arsenal are gearing up for their biggest match of the season. The Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain is now just hours away.

It is one of the Gunners' biggest games in recent history, with a place in the final against Inter Milan up for grabs.

To get there, Arsenal will have to overturn a one-goal deficit, given to PSG by Ousmane Dembele at the Emirates Stadium last week. But they have arrived in the French capital full of confidence.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference yesterday, Declan Rice said: "We're here to win the game. We're here to make a statement. We want to get to the final. So we need to be ready to go and do that.

"I think you need to have full belief. We certainly have that as a group. I think if we are the best versions of ourselves tomorrow night, and we know we can be that, there is no stopping us getting into that final."

That was certainly fighting talk from Rice, who is guaranteed to be in the squad for the massive clash with PSG, barring any late injury complications.

But there are 13 other players we know will be in the squad too, because we saw them travel to France for the clash.

In footage released by Arsenal on their social media platforms, the players were filmed heading to the aeroplane and then captured arriving in France too. but not everyone was captured on film, leading to some question marks around kick-off time.

The players caught on camera, and therefore part of the travelling squad were: Bukayo Saka, David Raya, Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori, William Saliba, Leandro Trossard, Benjamin White, Martin Odegaard, Rice, Kieren Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Neto.

That leaves nine spots open in the matchday squad for others, with clubs able to name a squad of 23, meaning five first teamers expected to be present were not caught on camera. Mikel Merino, Jakub Kiwior, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli and Raheem Sterling were all part of the first leg squad, alongside a number of members of the youth team.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Jorginho and Takehiro Tomiyasu all remain sidelined with injuries too.
