The Barcelona forward lit up both legs of the semi-final with his brilliance but ended up on the losing side as Inter progressed 7-6 on aggregate.
Barcelona’s incredible teenager took to social media after the game and vowed to bring the European Cup back to Catalunya.
“We’ve given it all, this year it couldn’t be but we’ll be back don’t have any doubt “culers“ we won’t stop until we leave this club where it deserves, at the highest,” he posted
“I will fulfill my promise and bring it to Barcelona, we won’t stop until we get it. But Sunday is another final and we all have to be together. Long live Barça!”
Barcelona now switch focus back to La Liga and the chance to add the title to their Copa del Rey crown. Next up it’s a visit from bitter rivals Real Madrid and the chance to move another step closer to the double with victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
