Wolverhampton Wanderers could look to land former Premier League star Nicolas Pepe this summer - with the Molineux outfit interested in bringing the ex-Arsenal man back to British shores, having excelled in La Liga with Villarreal this season after reviving his career in Spain.
Star man Matheus Cunha is expected to leave in the summer amid interest from Manchester United amongst others after scoring 15 in the Premier League. But with Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen nabbing 13 in his debut top-flight campaign, service for the talisman could be vital to ensuring their Premier League future isn't in doubt next season.

The La Liga outfit are battling for a place in the top five of the top-flight, which would be enough to secure them Champions League football for next season - and with Pepe having scored twice in 23 league appearances this season, he's generated interest from the Premier League and the Saudi Pro League.
Scoring once and recording two assists in a 4-2 win over Osasuna at the weekend, Pepe showed the sort of 'phenomenal' form that proved why Arsenal signed him for £72million from Lille over half a decade ago - and having been back to his best for several weeks, his spearhead nature means that Vitor Pereira could look to a potential summer move.
Although Villarreal would like him to extend his contract, Wolves are keeping a keen eye on the 29-year-old star - and there is 'no doubt' that a strong end to the campaign could have an impact on his future, with Wolves in need of wide stars to come in and transform their squad ahead of next season.
Having enjoyed the likes of Adama Traore, Diogo Jota and Pedro Neto in recent years, Wolves haven't had must joy with wingers in recent years, with the likes of Pablo Sarabia and Hwang Hee-chan failing to produce much in terms of output this season - and Pepe's arrival would see Molineux chiefs try and correct that narrative.
