PSG 2-1 Arsenal – player ratings

Arsenal’s Champions League campaign ended with defeat in Paris, going down 2-1 to PSG on the night (3-1 on aggregate).

The Gunners started brightly, with a host of chances early on, and once again found Gianluigi Donnarumma in unbeatable form. Fabian Ruiz scored against the run of play to put the home side 1-0 up in the first half.

David Raya saved a harshly awarded second-half penalty to keep Arsenal in it, before a mistake on the edge of our box saw Hakimi make it 2-0. Bukayo Saka pulled one back, and missed a glorious chance to equalise but put his close range shot over the bar.

It was a decent effort from Mikel Arteta’s men, but 1 goal from over 5xG across the two legs tells you exactly where improvements need to be made.

Here’s how the players rated this evening.
