Arsenal's dream of lifting the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history came to a disappointing end last night as they were knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain PSG) in the competition’s semi-final.
PSG were already 1-0 up from the first game in London, so the Gunners had work to do in Paris.
But it wasn't to be and despite a goal from Bukayo Saka, it's PSG who will meet Italian team Inter Milan in the final on 31 May in Germany.
Here's how it happened.

Despite being on top during the early part of the match, forcing PSG's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to make several impressive saves, Arsenal fell behind thanks to a goal from Fabian Ruiz.
The midfielder thundered the ball into the net with a strike from the edge of the penalty box.

Arsenal later had a penalty given against them following a VAR (Video Assistant Referee) check for handball against Myles Lewis-Skelly.
The penalty from Vitinha was poor though, and David Raya dived to his left to make the save.

Any encouragement Arsenal took from the penalty save was short lived.
PSG scored a second goal after 72 minutes, Thomas Partey lost possession on the edge of his own penalty area, as Achraf Hakimi went on to score.

Bukayo Saka managed to get a goal back for Arsenal, but it wasn’t enough.
The Gunners missed several big chances to score a second, including Saka shooting over an open goal, crashing out at the semi-final stage.
It means Paris Saint-Germain has now beaten Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Aston Villa in this season’s competition.
Meanwhile Arsenal now need to secure a top five finish in the Premier League to make sure they’ll be back in Champions League again next season.
