Manchester City have landed more than £4million from Uefa in international payments, sources have told Football Insider.
The Uefa Euro 2024 club benefits programme has distributed a total of £198million between 901 teams from the 55 European football associations.
The initiative has seen clubs rewarded for releasing players to Uefa national team competitions, including the 2020-21 and 2022-23 Nations League, European qualifiers and Euro 2024.
Clubs received an equal share for every player released for Nations League matches and European qualifiers, while a fixed amount per player was paid per day during the Euros.
English sides were handed a combined £39.9million for releasing their players as part of the programme.
Man City received the largest payout in England after banking £4.4million, while Arsenal were next in line with £3.3million.
