Arsenal are considering a surprise summer move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lee Kang-in, journalist Simon Barlow has reported.
The Gunners have reportedly retained their interest in the South Korean since the January transfer window, when Mikel Arteta was particularly keen on securing his mid-season arrival at the Emirates.
This time, newly-appointed sporting director Andrea Berta is reportedly leading Arsenal’s push to sign Lee and is said to be encouraging Arteta to make room in his squad for the 24-year-old.
Berta is believed to be a long-term admirer of the midfielder and was behind Atletico Madrid’s failed bid to sign Lee when he was still at La Liga side Mallorca in 2023.

According to Barlow, PSG are open to Lee’s departure this summer following a season of struggles under Luis Enrique at the Parc des Princes.
The former Valencia playmaker has started just 18 league games for PSG this season and made a further four starts in the Champions League, where the French side reached the final after beating Arsenal on Wednesday.
Lee was an unused substitute in PSG’s last four knockout games in Europe, after appearing in the second leg of their last-16 win against Liverpool.
The South Korea international, praised as ‘one of PSG's most exciting attacking players’, is expected to be available for a cut-price fee this summer, potentially worth around £17m.
Arsenal could benefit from a player of Lee’s profile following Martin Odegaard’s injury-hit campaign at the Emirates.
The Norway international was forced to miss almost two months with an ankle sprain last year and Arsenal struggled without a direct replacement, having sold Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham before the season.
