Arsenal could look to sell five of their fringe first-team players this summer, according to a report.

Sami Mokbel reports for the BBC that a number of Arsenal’s fringe players will be on the market this summer. In addition to the likes of Jorginho and Kieran Tierney, who are on the way out for free, the Gunners could also look to sell a few others.
That list includes Leandro Trossard, who has held talks over an extension but may be on the transfer list if he doesn’t agree to a new deal.
The club will also reportedly look to offload Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has struggled for minutes behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori this season.

On top of those two, loan trio Nuno Tavares, Fabio Vieira, and Albert Sambi Lokonga could reportedly also leave.
Tavares is presumably the most likely, with a purchase clause in his deal and repeated reports coming out of Lazio suggesting they think they’ve got a great deal for his permanent signature.
Lokonga is another with a purchase clause, but the likelihood of Sevilla activating it is probably less given the way his injuries have affected his impact in La Liga this campaign.
Sevilla’s poor league finish will also hit them financially. So if Lokonga goes, it will probably be somewhere else.

As for Vieira, Porto don’t have a purchase clause, so Arsenal will definitely be negotiating from scratch in his case. But he’s had a decent season and should be relatively marketable.
If all five players leave, that would certainly help with Arsenal’s incoming transfer plans, but there’s a lot of work for the club to do this summer.
