Arsenal have missed out on almost £25million following their Champions League exit, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League side enjoyed a strong European campaign before being knocked out by PSG in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
After finishing third in the revamped league phase of the competition, they beat PSV Eindhoven 9-3 on aggregate in the last 16 to set up a showdown with Real Madrid.
Arsenal blew the Spanish giants away in the quarter-finals, securing a 5-1 win on aggregate, including a stunning 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg.
However, the Gunners were beaten 3-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals by PSG, who will now face Inter Milan in the final later this month.
Arsenal banked a guaranteed £100million windfall from the Champions League before their defeat against the French champions, but they have missed out on the chance to add to their prize money.

A place in the final would have been worth a further £15.7million, while the winner of the competition will earn £5.5million.
The Champions League winner will also feature in the Super Cup this summer, where both participants will be paid £3.4million.
That means Arsenal’s Champions League exit has seen them potentially miss out on an extra £24.6million.

Arsenal smash club record after documents filed
Arsenal posted a record-breaking revenue last season after their turnover surged from £466.7million in 2022-23 to £616.6million.
The London giants’ strong financial performance was driven by their return to the Champions League and a significant uplift in commercial income.
Their commercial revenue increased from £169.3million to £218.3million, while broadcast income improved from £191.2million to £262.3million and matchday rose from £102.6million to £131.7million.
The club’s £17.7million loss across the period was down on their £52.1million deficit for 2022-23, with top-flight sides permitted to make £105million of losses over a rolling three-year period under the profit and sustainability rules (PSR).
