Man Utd could hand out a debut when they face Athletic Club in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final.

Manchester United could hand out a debut when they face Athletic Club in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie on Thursday night. United head into the match with a 3-0 lead from their first leg clash a week ago but Ruben Amorim is not expected to take any chances with his team selection.

Amorim made eight changes to his starting line up for the weekend defeat to Brentford and could revert to the same side that won comfortably in Bilbao last week. It means Noussair Mazraoui could return at right-wing back as United continue to cope without the injured Diogo Dalot.

Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu are the other senior options to play at right wing-back if required, though they also have a promising youngster available who could step up if required. Bendito Mantato is in the United squad for the match and here is everything you need to know about the talented teenager.

Full name: Bendito Boanova Mantato

Age: 25 January 2008 (age 17)

Place of Birth: Manchester

Position: Right wing

Squad number: 85

Bendito Mantato joined United at the age of nine and has worked his way up through the youth teams to become a key member of their U18 squad this season. He predominantly plays as a right winger but is viewed as a player who could feature at right wing-back in the current system favoured by Ruben Amorim.

The 17-year-old is eligible to feature for Angola at international level but has so far chosen to represent England across the various age groups. Mantato rose to prominence when he scored a dramatic winner over Arsenal in the Youth Cup quarter-finals. He has drawn comparisons to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka for his playstyle.

Mantato was added to the Europa League B-List ahead of the semi-final first leg against Athletic Club and featured as an unused substitute during the match. The teenager is expected to feature for United in their post-season tour of Asia as well as their summer trip to the United States.
