He’s offered an update on his progress and says things are looking good.

> “Very well. I’ve been on the pitch for a while now, and everything is responding,” he told AS.

>

> “Everyone feels very good: physios, doctors, and recovery staff. I’d say I’m healed and just need to get ready.

>

> “I’ve hardly ever been injured, and it sucked. I missed the most important part of the season. It leaves you feeling crushed. You feel like you’re risking your career.”

Casado also looked ahead to Sunday’s match and says it’s a game he has loved playing.

> “No, they’re the ones you enjoy,” he added.

>

> “I’ve really enjoyed the two I’ve played, just as I enjoyed playing against Bayern. You come out focused, you have to give your best, because if you’re not focused, they’ll run all over you.”

We’ll have to wait and see if Casado is passed fit in time for the match, but it’s certainly great news that he’s set to return soon.
