Leao has a release clause in his contract that can be activated, however, at a value of €175m, that was supposed to act as a deterrent to other clubs across Europe.
Still, there has been reported interest from Chelsea over the course of the 2024-25 season, and most recently from Arsenal according to Friday’s reports.

Calciomercato.com claims that Italian executive Andrea Berta, who began work as Arsenal’s sporting director at the end of March, has identified Leao as a target for the summer transfer window.
Arsenal’s left-wing department, which currently includes Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling, is an area that the Gunners could look to strengthen in the summer.
Milan’s stance is that they do not intend on selling Leao this summer. Friday’s reports, however, suggest that a ‘surprise’ offer in the region of €100m could be enough to get the ball rolling in negotiations with the Rossoneri.
