Young Barcelona goalkeeper Áron Yaakobishvili has signed a new deal at the club that will run until 2028.
Yaakobishvili’s future had been in doubt at the club but he has now committed his future to the Catalan giants.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the plan is for Yaakobishvili to go out on loan next season and gain some first-team experience before heading back to Catalunya.

Yaakobishvili is still only 19 years of age but looks to have a big future ahead of him and will hope he can go on and break into the first team at Barcelona.
The Catalans also have 19-year-old American Diego Kochen in the ranks, meaning there’s plenty of exciting goalkeeping talent currently at the club.
They may well be needed too with Barca’s first choice goalkeepers heading towards the twilight of their careers.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen turned 33 last month, while Wojciech Szczęsny came out of retirement to join the club. Inaki Pena is still only 26 but looks set to leave after losing his place to Szczęsny.
