Latest from my daily podcast
The podcast is designed to give to give you a short, sharp, insightful take on the day’s events, sent to your inbox mid-morning. It’s split in three sections, all around 3-5 minutes long. It’s been a seismic week in Europe so the podcast focused heavily on the games in the first and seconds sections, what can be learned, and also issues like is there a respectful way to leave a club in the wake of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s announcement. I know how interested people are on the community work that clubs do, work that rarely gets highlighted in the media. So there were plenty of reflections in the third sections on the community work of clubs like Charlton on psychosis, Birmingham and defibrillators, and Coventry’s fans buying tickets for those who can’t afford them.
