Andy Cohen? Are you listening? There’s an enterprising young woman with a fabulous idea for a reality show knocking at your door. Jordon Hudson is reportedly hoping that there’s enough interest in her relationship with Bill Belichick that people might want to tune in while folding their laundry or recovering from minor surgery.

In an episode of his podcast on Friday, sports journalist Pablo Torre said that Hudson might have big plans for her and her 73-year-old boyfriend. Torre spoke with several sources close to Belichick, some of whom had insight into why Hudson abruptly stopped a CBS reporter from asking how the couple met.

“She may be saving any and all talk of their origin story, their relationship, for a potential reality show,” Torre said he heard from a source. He went on to explain what he believed to be Hudson’s motivation for cutting off Belichick’s interview. “She is somebody who believes that an exclusive means exclusive: ‘You can’t talk about this anywhere else,’” Torre said. The story of how they met “is for a future, theoretical project. That is the theory from people who have had to deal with her.”

It has previously been reported that Belichick and Hudson were first acquainted while seated next to each other on an airplane in 2021. They haven’t denied that so far — Hudson has shared the autograph Belichick left inside of her Deductive Logic textbook. The fact that this is public information made it extra-bizarre when Hudson interrupted CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil to say, “We’re not talking about this,” when he asked Belichick about their meet-cute. This move makes slightly more sense if Hudson wants the official story to exist exclusively on a show that has her name on it.

According to Torre, Hudson has wanted to be in the spotlight for some time. While it was previously reported by “Page Six” that the former cheerleader had pushed to be part of a Dunkin’ campaign Belichick starred in, Torre said there was another “highly unusual” situation on a different commercial set.

During a poolside shoot for Belichick’s 2024 ad for Underdog Fantasy, the company that hosts his podcast, Hudson reportedly “started immediately pitching herself for a role that had not been discussed in this scripted seven-figure commercial shoot.” Torre said Hudson wanted the ad to serve as the “hard launch” of their relationship.

Per Torre, Hudson “left the set and came back sometime later and was wearing a yellow polka-dot bikini and a sun hat.” Sources told Torre that filming had already wrapped by the time Hudson returned, leaving the crew to scramble about what to do. “They filmed something that, one source told me, may have involved a camera that may not have even been on,” Torre said. “They had zero intention of using it.”

The final commercial did not feature Hudson.

What I’m gleaning from all of this is that Hudson is a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it. It also seems that she is not great at reading a room. Historically, these are two qualities that make for incredible reality-television stars, so this all might work out wonderfully for her.
